Mathematics
education is one of the critical areas in education. It contributes to the
individuals to continue their social lives better, provides the background in
their studies in science, increases the self-confidence of the individuals and
enables them to acquire better professions in the future. It is not possible to
solve many problems we encounter in Daily life successfully without putting
mathematical thinking skills to work. Because students reach their abstract
thinking maturity differently and their teachers use inappropriate methods and
techniques in mathematics lessons, many students develop math anxiety. As
students fall behind schedule in the following grades, math anxiety rises gradually,
and sometimes even turns into fear. There are many reports of OECD, UNESCO and
EU Commission on this problem. In this project, to reduce students' math
anxiety; It was aimed to create a new and innovative curriculum. In order to
achieve this goal, it is aimed to benefit from new learning and teaching
methods and approaches. Today, it is aimed to teach mathematics to students
through robotics with blended education, taking advantage of the digital
environment that students love and enjoy and which is seen as the future of
education. While working in the digital environment, it is extremely important
for students to learn and love mathematics through robotics applications.
Today, with the covid-19 pandemic, it has been seen how important distance education
is. Distance education and blended education have now become a part of
education systems. Therefore, using another innovative approach, pre-service
teachers will be taught how to teach mathematics with robotics applications in
blended approach. Primary schools are the most critical level to reduce
students' math anxiety. Because math anxiety increases in higher schools.
Therefore, primary school pre-teachers play a very important role. Modular
curriculum needs will be met for primary school teacher candidates. With the
scenario based video library and e-book to be created, very important material
support will be provided for both their education and the future. These
resources will be used free of charge by all teachers.
