Özet

The aim of this research is to reveal the relationship between textile workers' organizational alienation and cyber loafing. In the research, relational scanning model, one of the quantitative research models, was used. Textile workers in the Marmara Region constitute the universe of the research. The sample group of the research consists of employees in textile companies operating in Bursa. In the study, two scales, organizational alienation and virtual loafing, were used as data collection tools. In the research, it was first determined whether the data showed normal distribution or not. Since kurtosis and skewness values of the data are between -1 and +1, parametric tests were applied to the data. Statistical analysis, t-test and ANOVA statistical analysis were performed on the data obtained from the research. There is a high level of correlation between the views of textile workers on important and insignificant cyber loafing and the dimensions of detachment from self, alienation from the environment, dismissal from work, powerlessness, meaninglessness and normlessness, which are among the dimensions of organizational alienation. It is seen that there is no significant difference between the monthly wages of textile workers and their views on cyber loafing. There is a significant relationship between the monthly wages of the employees and the dimensions of self-alienation, powerlessness and normlessness that are included in organizational alienation.
