Özet

In this study, CCD images of two Algol-type binary stars (GI Cep and V746 Cep), which were taken by the TESS space telescope, were converted into the light curves using the Lightkurve program (Lightkurve Collaboration, 2018). These TESS light curves were solved using the Wilson-Devinney method (Wilson & Devinney, 1971). Since there are no detailed spectroscopic and/or photometric study on these eclipsing binary stars, T1 (effective temperature of the primary component) search and q (mass-ratio) search were made, and T1=10000 K and q=0.16 for GI Cep and T1=11720 K and q=0.23 for V746 Cep were found. Photometric solutions revealed that these target binary stars have semi-detached configurations, where the secondary components fill their Roche lobe.
