He started his education and training in 1976 with the Food Technology Program under the Ministry of National Education, Department of Formal Education. In order to enable the qualified workforce in the Food Processing Department of our school to be trained practically with the use of new techniques and innovative methods so that they can have the qualifications desired by the industry, within the scope of the 2018 Vocational Education Development - 2 Financial Support Program call of the Southern Marmara Development Agency, "In Çanakkale Region" The project titled "Vocational Training Workshop and Food Processing/Analysis Laboratory Establishment" is being carried out.


The project is under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed YÜCEER from the Department of Food Processing and the team members are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhat ÇOLAKOĞLU and Lecturer. Prepared by Kübra TARHAN KUZU. The project aims to create a new vocational and technical education model and to establish an applied training workshop in the food processing department.


Within the scope of the 15-month project, it is aimed to enable the qualified workforce in the Food Processing Department of our School to be trained practically with the use of new techniques and innovative methods so that they can have the qualifications desired by the industry.

In the first period of the project, the installation of the Food Analysis Laboratory and Workshop within our School was completed. Within the scope of the project, which will last 15 months, it is aimed to enable the qualified workforce in the Food Processing Department of our School to be trained practically with the use of new techniques and innovative methods, so that they can have the qualifications desired by the industry. The second period of the project includes Food Career Days and Vocational Trainings.

Food Processing Laboratory consists of two parts;


1. Physical and Chemical Analysis Laboratory


2. Microbiology Laboratory


Within the scope of laboratory studies, cooperation and R&D activities are carried out with the private sector.
