Turist rehberliği, eğitimi ve icra etmesi zor olan kanunla korunan bir meslek olarak kabul edilmektedir. 2024 yılı itibariyle turist rehberliği mesleğinin bağlı olduğu 6326 sayılı Turist Rehberliği Meslek Kanununda bazı değişiklikler yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2024 yılı 6326 sayılı Turist Rehberliği Meslek Kanunu ile ilgili yapılan değişiklikler hakkında turist rehberi adaylarının düşüncelerini belirlemektir. Bu amaçla Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesinde eğitim gören 102 turist rehberleri adayına dört sorudan oluşan görüşme soruları uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma tekniklerinden görüşme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlara göre, turist rehberi adayları 6326 sayılı Turist Rehberliği Meslek Kanunu ile ilgili yapılan değişiklikleri olumsuz bulmaktadır. Bu kapsamda 6326 sayılı Turist Rehberliği Meslek Kanunu ile ilgili yapılan değişikliklerin yeniden gözden geçirilmesi turist rehberlerinin yararına olacağı düşünülmektedir. Yasada yapılan değişiklikler, turist rehberleri adayları tarafından mantıksız ve turist rehberlerine karşı haksız bir uygulama olarak görülmektedir. Literatür incelendiğinde, 2024 yılı turist rehberliği yasa değişikliğinin turist rehberi adaylarının düşüncelerini inceleyen herhangi bir çalışmaya rastlanılmamıştır. Bu çalışma, literatürdeki eksikliği doldurması ve turist rehberleri için mevcut bir soruna ışık tutması bakımından önemlidir.
Tourist guiding is recognised as a profession protected by law, which is difficult to train and perform. As of 2024, some changes have been made in the Tourist Guidance Profession Law No. 6326, to which the tourist guidance profession is affiliated. The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of the tourist guide candidates about the changes made in the Tourist Guidance Profession Law No. 6326 of 2024. For this purpose, interview questions consisting of four questions were applied to 102 tourist guide candidates studying at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. Interview method, one of the qualitative research techniques, was used in the study. According to the results, prospective tourist guides find the changes made in the Law No. 6326 on the Profession of Tourist Guides unfavourable. In this context, it is thought that it would be in the best interest of tourist guides to review the amendments made to the Tourist Guiding Profession Law No. 6326. The amendments made in the law are seen as an unreasonable and unfair practice against tourist guides by tourist guide candidates. When the literature is examined, there is no study examining the opinions of tourist guide candidates on the amendment of the tourist guide law of 2024. This study is important in terms of filling the gap in the literature and shedding light on an existing problem for tourist guides.
