The significant rise in measles cases globally and particularly in Europe poses a heightened risk for dentists who treat paediatric patients, given the potential for disease transmission and associated complications. Moreover, the potential for disease spread from the dental setting to other individuals underscores the importance of public health considerations. In this context, it is imperative for clinicians to undertake necessary precautions and maintain up-to-date knowledge about measles to ensure the safety of both patients and the broader community.
