The frost event that occurred in different regions of Turkey with the change of the climate zone
deeply affects agricultural production. Accordingly, it is necessary to predict the regions and
periods where frost risk may occur, according to digital models, in order to reduce losses in
agricultural production. Study has carried out in the Susurluk basin, where the daily minimum
temperature values of the meteorological stations in the basin were used. The days when frost
is expected to occur at different probability levels in the spring and autumn periods were
determined by geostatistical methods. The results obtained were determined by giving frost risk
maps for 80%, 50%, 20% probability levels in the spring and autumn periods, together with the
digital elevation map (DEM).
