Social life, which has jumped within the digital age with Internet technologies, is experiencing a brand-new brink within the digitalized world with the Covid-19 epidemic. The corona virus, which started in Wuhan province of China within the middle of 2020 and so caused a world quarantine process by affecting the entire world, makes it necessary to digitize real lifestyle. With this digitalization, social interaction in world has been minimized, while the quantity of social interaction within the digital environment has reached its maximum. the rise within the intensity of interaction within the digital environment, thus transforming the pandemic into a digital pandemic. the belief of ordinary standard of living digitally and therefore the indisputable fact that there is a world epidemic crisis undermines the credibility of the knowledge pool formed while setting the agenda within the digital environment. this era, called new normal, also had an excellent impact on Turkey. during this study, the results caused by the corona virus outbreak from the society in Turkey, the Turkish community of Google search and Instagram with the hashtag was examined by analysis out of interest within the agenda. This review has been disbursed by specializing in certain criteria generally the problems that the Turkish people are inquisitive about and speak about most during the Covid-19 and therefore the quarantine process that comes with it.
Google searches and Turkey Instagram hashtags, with 7 different focus groups settled into fives in 7 datasets. These 7 Datasets, respectively, are as follows: Dataset1-Basic: It includes searches for information that can be called the basis for the Covid-19 outbreak; Dataset2-Discriminatory: consists of discriminatory-based searches pointing to the view of the Chinese people because the reason for the virus; Dataset3-Deviation: includes searches that cause deviation within the data generated by taking into consideration the typos of basic searches; Dataset4-Social: consists of searches for the social dimension of the method of curfew decisions and campaigns taken during the quarantine process; Dataset5-Precaution: includes searches on precaution tools and methods like masks and disinfectants that ought to be taken during the epidemic process; Dataset6-Current Status: It consists of searches focused on obtaining news and data about the newest situation of Covid-19 cases; Dataset7-Misinformation: includes searches that specialize in misinforming methods of virus treatment and speculation about new viruses. While determining these data sets, 2263 search criteria obtained from searches between October 27, 2019 and October 27, 2020 were examined and 35 prominent search criteria with the foremost intense searches were selected through Google Trends. This entails creating graphics created in Turkey in line with the calls associated with the pandemic within the process is set most overrated issues. during this study, " pandemic scale (P-scale)" was wont to categorize the search criteria, the intensity relationship of the search criteria was low (0-2), medium (2-5), high (5-8), very high (8-10). ) is defined as. The normalized data of the relative search volume (RSV) supported the search popularity scale within the range of 0 (low), 100 (highly popular) provided by Google Trends was wont to determine the search keywords subject to research. The pandemic scale (P-scale) was applied to the current data to work out the more valid density relationship. Data on Instagram hashtags are collected manually, and within the collected data, e-mail, signal, address, etc. personal information has not been collected in any way. All data employed in this research were collected anonymously from open sources.
It has been observed that the bulk of the country's population using the net as a way of obtaining information in times of crisis like a scourge causes confusion thanks to the high rate of spread of dirty information. Especially in health-related crises, treatment methods, etc. the conclusion of applications in line with the knowledge obtained from online information sources causes irreversible consequences like death. However, the info obtained regarding this digital crisis environment created by the pandemic show that the epidemic is that the focus of virtually the complete society. The measures to be taken at the purpose of combating the epidemic are sought by everyone and are wanted to be obtained through online trade and other means. Products like N95 masks, which nobody knew even before, are included within the consumption habits in a very crisis and enable a replacement market formation. During the epidemic process, quarantine applications also stand come in Google searches. Especially in Turkey, implemented by the state decision under age 18 and 65 people over the age of when the intensity Searches related bans curfew, part-time general curfew in their term comes, has created a need to learn about it in the general population. However, campaigns to remain home again created by the health ministry constitute a big majority of Turkey in Google's search data. As a result of the searches made with the Covid-19 epidemic, it had been observed that there have been racist and discriminatory discourses, or curiosities with similar dynamics, especially against the Chinese people. Google searches show that the corona virus was related to China and bat soup, leading to hate-focused search data. Search data can create large amounts of knowledge loss counting on the search density. These losses are also caused by searching intensively searched words with typos in search engines. Coronavirus months because the most often searched topic on Google, the term “vürüs, korono, covit, korana and corono” searched the result with misspellings such data can mislead. during this study, this deviation was also included within the analysis created by taking this deviation into consideration.
