ilgilidir. En az doğru cevap verilen soru, pediatrik hastada şoklanamayan ritimde ilk adrenalin dozunun
verilme zamanı (%31,5) olmuştur. Pediatrik temel yaşam desteği sorularına doğru cevap verme oranı
%50’nin altındadır.Katılımcıların özellikle pediatrik vakalarda bilgi düzeylerinde eksiklik görülmüştür.
Bu hususta güncelleme eğitimlerinin arttırılması, personelin kılavuzları güncel takip etmesi konusunda,
motive edecek etkinlikler ve uygulamalar faydalı olacaktır. Böylece hizmet içi eğitimlerin
değerlendirildiği araştırmalara ihtiyaç olduğu görülmüştür.
Pre-hospital emergency medical personnel strive to reduce morbidity and mortality rates by
maintaining cardiac, pulmonary, and cerebral perfusion with cardiopulmonary resuscitation. In
this sense; following up of the current guidance is vital.. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate
the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation knowledge levels of the health personnel providing prehospital emergency health services in the light of current guidelines and to compare them
according to demographic variables. The descriptive cross-sectional study has been carried out
with the health personnel working in Malatya Province 112 Emergency Health Services. 327
volunteer health personnels from the study population (n=497) have participated in the study. As
a data collection tool, a questionnaire has been created using the European Resuscitation
Council's 2021 guide and expert opinion. The data have been transferred to the SPSS 19.0
package program, and descriptive statistics such as percentage, frequency and median and
comparison tests have been used in the evaluation of the data. In comparison tests, parametric
and non-parametric tests have been applied in view of the prerequisites. After graduation,
93.3% of participants have taken the advanced life support course, and 52.3% has taken the
course within the previous year. 80.7% of the participants find the last training that they have
received sufficient and 39.4% of the participants read the current guidelines. While the
maximum score that can be received from the runned test has been 17, the average of the
participant scores is 12.05.In contrast with the male participants, female participants have higher
(p=0.03). Titularly, paramedics and doctors have higher score than those in the “other” group
(p<0.001).It has been detected that there is no significant difference between education level
and total scores. The questions with the highest number of correct answers are questions about
the method of confirming the intubation procedure (93.3%), and effective heart massage
(90.8%).The time (31.5%) of implementation of the first adrenaline dose in a non-shockable
rhythm in a pediatric patient was the question with the least correct answer. The percentage of
correct answers to pediatric basic life support questions is less than 50%. It has been observed
that the average score of the participants was low, especially in questions about pediatric
advanced life support. In this respect, we think that motivating activities and online applications
will be beneficial to increase the frequency of update trainings and following the updates in the
guides. As a result of the research, it has been understood that there is a requirement for research
that evaluates in-service training.
