Abstract

Background: Directed Enzyme Prodrug Therapy (DEPT) as an alternative method against conventional cancer treatments, in which the non-toxic prodrug is converted to highly cytotoxic derivative, has attracted an ample attentions in recent years for cancer therapy studies.
