Analysis on the Job Satisfaction of Star-rated Hotel Managers in Beijing Based on Comparative Study-Taking Beijing-based Hotels Above 3-star as Examples

Özet

Questionnaire survey is adopted in this paper to study the job satisfaction of the managers with well-known star-rated hotels in Beijing and Antalya a world-famous tourism city. First of all, 6 common factors educed from the raw data of 262 samples of Beijing by factor analysis and multivariate linear regression are taken as secondary indicators, and their 36 element factors are used as tertiary indicators to establish a satisfaction indicator system and regression equation for satisfaction calculation. Based on comparative analysis of data, the following conclusion is drawn: (1) In general, the managers of Beijing-based star-rated hotels have relatively high satisfaction with their jobs. (2) In terms of the three secondary indicators, i.e. career objective, working method and life satisfaction, the managers of Antalya-based hotels also have relatively high satisfaction; and with respect to the three secondary indicators of working enthusiasm, working time and work-family relation attitude, managers with Beijing-based star-rated hotels have relatively high satisfaction. And finally, the strategy for improving the satisfaction of managers with Beijing-based star-rated hotels is proposed.
