In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the education of the students by themselves, who were in fifth or sixth grade at the Medical School of Karadeniz Technical University. Also their expectations and fears about future were investigated. Among 367 students, three hundred, who were currently student in the fifth and sixth grade were included the study. Data were obtained by questionnaires applied face to face method. In analysis. EP1 Info 6.0 version software and chi-square test were used. Sixty three percent of the students were male and thirty-seven percent were female. 27.7% of the students decided on their own not to study medicine. More than 50% of them reported that they didn't want to study medicine again. It has been found that 57.7% were insufficient in official work and 54.6% of students were insufficient in forensic medicine. 90.3% of them wish to become specialists. The main reason for that is reported as having a career (55%) and satisfy their moral values (%49). After graduation, it has been claimed that their main fear (%45) was unsuccessfulness in Profession Exam in Medicine As a result, the main criteria in evaluating medical education is Professional Exam in Medicine.
