In Türkiye, there are different options for dentists to continue their careers after specialization and/or doctorate in dentistry. Physicians who have completed their specialty/doctorate can work in public institutions such as oral and dental health centers and public hospitals, as well as continue their professional lives in institutions such as hospitals / polyclinics / clinics in the private sector. In addition, continuing an academic career in private or public universities stands out as another preferred career option. In this panel, different speakers who provide academic services at a state university, dentistry in the oral and dental health center and clinical services in the private sector will be informed about the issues that the participants will be curious about before and during the panel, and interactive speeches will be made on career planning.
