Bozcaada ve Gökçeada jeopolitik konumları nedeniyle Akdeniz uygarlıklarının hemen hepsinin gözde mekânlarından olarak tarih sahnesinde yer bulmuşlardır. Birbirinden son derece farklı pek çok kültüre ev sahipliği yapan adalar, bu anlamda kültürel olarak da farklı tabakalarla ilgili bilgi sunması bakımından sosyal bilimlerin hemen her dalının ilgisine mazhar olmuşlardır. Süreç içerisinde tarih, coğrafya, arkeoloji, turizm, sosyoloji, mimarlık gibi pek çok sosyal bilim alanında çok çeşitli hacimlerde çalışmaların konu edildiği Çanakkale adaları aynı zamanda son çeyrekte çok sayıda Türk sinema eserine de mekân olmuştur. Adaların mimari, sosyal, coğrafi ve kültürel özellikleri, sinema eserlerinin görsel yönlerini zenginleştirmişlerdir. Bu eserler bir yandan adaları tüm yönleriyle sahnelerinde yansıtmakta, bir yandan da popüler hâle gelmeleriyle birlikte adalar için birer turistik tanıtım aracı da olmaktadırlar. Dolayısıyla Çanakkale adaları ile buraları plato olarak kullanan sinema yapımları arasında birbirini destekleyen simbiyotik bir ilişki ortaya çıkmıştır. Nitekim araştırmada elde edilen verilere göre özellikle 2000’lerden sonra Bozcaada ve Gökçeada’da çekilen filmler, Çanakkale’ye gelen turist sayısını da etkilemiş, sahadaki incelemelerde de adalarda mukim halkın büyük çoğunluğu bu filmlerin ortaya çıkardığı dolaylı reklamlar sayesinde gelen turistlerin ekonomik faaliyetleri de canlandırdığını ifade etmişlerdir. Çalışmada doğrudan doğruya Bozcaada ve Gökçeada’yı mekân olarak seçen yedi Türk filmi, görsel içerik çözümlemesi yöntemi ile incelenerek, bu filmlerin sözel, görsel ve müzikal dokularına yansıyan ada folkloruna matuf örüntülerin temsilleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmada ayrıca sahadaki kaynak kişilerin çekilen bu filmlere karşı tutumları da değerlendirilmiştir.
Due to their geopolitical location, Bozcaada and Gökçeada have found their place in the history scene as the favorite places of almost all Mediterranean civilizations. The islands, which are home to many cultures that are extremely different from each other, have attracted the attention of almost every branch of social sciences in terms of providing information about different cultural layers. Çanakkale islands, where various volumes of studies in many social science fields such as history, geography, archeology, tourism, sociology, and architecture were the subject of the process, also became the venue for many Turkish cinema works in the last quarter. The architectural, social, geographical and cultural features of the islands have enriched the visual aspects of the cinema works. On the one hand, these works reflect the islands on their stages with all their aspects, on the other hand, they also become a touristic promotional tool for the islands as they become popular. Therefore, a symbiotic relationship has emerged between the Canakkale islands and the cinema productions that use them as a plateau. As a matter of fact, according to the data obtained in the research, the films shot in Bozcaada and Gökçeada, especially after the 2000s, have also affected the number of tourists coming to Çanakkale, and in the field studies, the majority of the people residing in the islands stated that the indirect advertisements created by these films stimulated the economic activities of the tourists. They have done. In the study, seven Turkish films that directly chose Bozcaada and Gökçeada as venues were examined with the method of visual content analysis, and the representations of the island folklore patterns reflected in the verbal, visual and musical textures of these films were emphasized. In the study, the attitudes of the resource people in the field towards these films were also evaluated.
