Abstract

Palladium-catalyzed cyclization of appropriately structured triynes, haloalkenyldiynes, or haloalkenylalkyne-alkyne mixtures can provide the corresponding benzene derivatives, while the Pd-catalyzed intermolecular reaction of diynes with alkenyl halides can give fulvene derivatives.
