Özet

Case During routine urinary ultrasonography of a 53-year-old female patient, measuring 3 cm in diameter, was detected in the middle 1/3 pole of the right kidney. However, it was observed that the lesion depicted in color-flow ultrasonography presented with arching of the surrounding vascular structures and displayed hypovascularity in comparison to the cortex (Fig. 1). Contrast-enhanced MRI was performed for the differential diagnosis of pseudotumor due to atypical features for Bertin column prominence. The diagnosis of the lesion, which exhibited an intensity similar to the renal parenchyma on contrast-enhanced MRI (Fig. 2), was subsequently confirmed as the prominence of Bertin’s column.
