First Apsidal Motion Analysis of Four Eclipsing Binary Systems with Eccentric Orbits

Özet
In this study, the apsidal motion parameters of the eccentric eclipsing binary systems GSC 08691-00026 (P = 2.47 days), GSC 09010-01931 (P = 2.31 days), GSC 07645-00517 (P = 3.21 days), and GSC 09022-01175 (P = 3.23 days were determined for the first time through an analysis of their (O–C) diagrams. The (O–C) diagrams were constructed using previously published times of minimum light together with new minima derived from TESS photometric data. The derived apsidal motion periods are U = 195 ± 26, 142 ± 25, 112 ± 14, and 345 ± 140 years for GSC 08691-00026, GSC 09010-01931, GSC 07645-00517, and GSC 09022-01175, respectively. The corresponding rates of change of the longitude of periastron were found to be 0 ◦. 0124 ± 0 ◦. 0017, 0 ◦. 0160 ± 0 ◦. 0028, 0 ◦. 0282 ± 0 ◦. 0035, and 0 ◦. 0092 ± 0 ◦. 0063 per cycle. All four systems have orbital eccentricities below 0.2.
