Özet: Biyolojik gölet tasarımlarının temel amacı bölge ekosisteminin ve su rezervlerinin korunmasıdır. Bölge
ekolojik değerlerinin korunabilmesi ve geleceğe aktarılabilmesi için doğru kullanımlara yer verilmesi gerekir. Biyolojik
gölet kullanımı bireylerin boş zamanlarını verimli, sağlıklı geçirmeleri sağlamanın yanı sıra, toplumsal eğitimi de
sağlamaktır. Çalışmada Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi, Botanik Bahçesi’ne ve Çanakkale kentine uygulanabilecek
biyolojik gölet için kullanıma uygun tasarım bitkileri belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen su kıyısı, su kenarı ve su içi bitkilerinin
özellikleri, kullanım ilkeleri ve tasarım önerileri tablo halinde değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada belirlenen bitki türlerinin
bölge doğal bitki örtüsünde yer alan örnekleri vardır. Bunların yaşam alanları, iklim istekleri, morfolojik ve dendrolojik
özellikleri tablo ile açıklanarak, botanik bahçesi için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
Abstract: The main purpose of biological pond designs is to protect the regional ecosystem and water reserves.
In order to protect the ecological values of the region and to transfer them to the future, it is necessary to include correct
uses. The use of biological ponds provides social education as well as providing individuals to spend their leisure time
productively and healthily. In the study, suitable design plants for use in the Botanical Garden of Çanakkale Onsekiz
Mart University and the city of Çanakkale were determined. The characteristics, usage principles and design suggestions
of the identified waterfront, waterfront and aquatic plants are evaluated in a table. There are examples of plant species
determined in the study in the natural vegetation of the region. Their habitats, climate demands, morphological and
dendrological features are explained with a table and suggestions are made for the botanical garden.
