Özet
This chapter examines women’s entrepreneurship and the specific challenges confronting women entrepreneurs. While general entrepreneurship has been extensively researched, the unique economic contributions of women entrepreneurs have only recently gained prominence in academic inquiry. Consequently, the obstacles encountered before, during, and after women's entrepreneurial endeavors have emerged as critical areas of focus. This study aims to contribute to both national and international literature, providing a foundational perspective for future research on women’s entrepreneurship. Employing a quantitative research framework alongside a comprehensive literature review encompassing general, digital, and women's entrepreneurship, this study highlights contemporary barriers and threats to women's entrepreneurial participation. Furthermore, it proposes strategic recommendations to mitigate or eliminate these impediments, thereby enabling women to integrate more seamlessly into the business landscape, realize their professional potential, and achieve socioeconomic prosperity.
