Araştırmada, ortaokullarda görev yapan beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin
mesleki kişilik yeterliliklerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın
problem cümlesini; Beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin mesleki kişilik yeterliklerinin
kendilerince algılanması nasıldır? sorusu oluşturmaktadır. Tarama modeline
uygun olarak yapılan araştırmada ölçek araştırmacı tarafından araştırma grubunu
oluşturan beden eğitimi öğretmenlerine yüz yüze tekniği ile uygulanmıştır.
Örneklem grubu 2011-2012 öğretim yılında İstanbul’da Milli Eğitim
Bakanlığı’na bağlı resmi ve özel ortaokullarda görev yapan 224 beden eğitimi
öğretmeninden oluşmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak BEÖ Mesleki
Kişilik Yeterliliği Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin frekans dağılımları,
mesleki kişilik yeterliliği ölçeği faktör puanları ile cinsiyet, yaş, hizmet yılı ve
okul türü değişkenlerine göre farklılaşma durumları için parametrik Bağımsız
Grup t Testi ve parametrik olmayan Kruskal Wallis testleri yapılmıştır. Analizler
sonucunda; beden eğitimi öğretmenleri mesleki kişilik yeterlilikleri “tamamen
yeterli” bulunmuştur. Alt boyutlarda da yine “tamamen yeterli” oldukları sonucu
elde edilmiştir. Cinsiyet, yaş ve hizmet yılı değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir
farklılık bulunmamış fakat okul türüne göre anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur.
This research was designed to determine how the professional personality
competence of physical education teachers who teach in secondary schools were
perceived. This research problem sentence is “How the professional personal
competence of physical education teachers are perceived by themselves?”
Screening model according to research conducted by researchers at the scale
forming research groups to physical education teachers face to face with the
technique has been applied. The sample group in Istanbul in 2011-2012 academic
year, the Ministry of Education working in the public and private secondary
schools is composed of 224 physical education teachers. The data collection tool
was used as a PET Occupational Personality Proficiency Scale. The data obtained
frequency distribution of the occupational personality proficiency scale factor
scores and gender, age, years of service and type of school according to the
variables differentiation conditions for the parametric independent samples t-test
and the nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis tests were conducted. As a result of
analysis; physical education teachers, vocational personality competences
"completely adequate" was found. Old sizes again "completely adequate" results
that were obtained. Gender, age and years of service according to the variables,
but no significant differences were found significant differences according to the
type of school.
