Assoc. Prof. ÇİĞDEM PEKAR

Biography

Assistant Proffessor Çiğdem Pekar has a BA degree from the Department of International Relations at Ege University, Turkey, an MA degree on ‘European Studies’ from the University of Exeter, UK and her PhD degree in International Relations from ÇanakkaleOnsekiz Mart University. She has spent one academic year at the Center for Non-Proliferation Studies, Monterey, US as a Fulbright researcher. Dr. Pekar’s research areas include nuclear nonproliferation regime, The Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), Turkey’s nuclear policy and nuclear history.
