Asst. Prof. UFUK NECAT TAŞÇI

Dr. Ufuk Necat Tasci is an Assistant Professor of International Relations at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Türkiye. He holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from Istanbul Medeniyet University and an MSc in International Management from Bournemouth University. Dr. Tasci’s research interests include foreign policy analysis, the politics of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and war and security studies. His work particularly focuses on regional power dynamics, political discourse, and strategic narratives in the Global South, with an emphasis on Türkiye’s evolving role in international affairs. In addition to his academic publications, Dr. Tasci is an active public commentator that regularly contributes to leading media platforms including Al Jazeera, The New Arab, Anadolu Agency, Daily Sabah, Fokus+ and Yenişafak, where he offers insights into contemporary political developments. He is also frequently invited to comment on national and international television programmes, contributing to public debates on foreign policy and regional issues.
