Res. Asst. PhD SAMET DOYKUN

Dr Samet Doykun is originally from Nallıhan. He completed his undergraduate education at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature; his master's degree at Aksaray University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature; and his doctorate at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Graduate Education Institute. In 2009, he started to work as a research assistant at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Education, Department of Turkish Education, and received the title of Dr. in December 2022.

Doykun has authored many articles, book chapters and book editors in the field of folklore. In addition, two book studies are in progress and are planned to be published in a short time. Apart from publications, he is involved in university scientific research projects and external projects, especially EU projects. He also works as an executive in one of these projects.

Doykun gives various lectures on folklore at undergraduate and graduate level.

Doykun is the coordinator of teaching practice at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Education.
