Biography

Hasan TATLI, a full professor and a graduate from the Technical University of Istanbul, has a background in meteorology-engineering and is a lecturer in geography at Canakkale Onsekiz University. He's an experienced meteorologist. His research has focused on the development of statistical models for downscaling the impact of climate change and essentially examining the substantiated uncertainty in climate variability. His research focuses on environmental change and its consequences on society, including processes on the planet and on the Earth. His research interests are climate change and natural hazards. His current interest is concerned with the ecological problems of forest fires and drought, which are especially acute in Mediterranean regions as a result of climate change.
